My name is Annie and this is my dog Nala, a 2 year old German Shorthaired Pointer. I have also got a lovely 7 year old Vizsla named Vinnie.

I have had over 8 years of experience working with dogs.
My passion for animals started at a very young age and lead me to study Animal Welfare and Behaviour as a Degree. I have since had experience working at dog rescue centres, and then went on to both dog walking and sitting for many years.

After spending a number years in the dog-walking world and being very particular about who cares for my own dogs, I decided to create a daycare that reflects everything I would want for them. Nala’s is not a place where dogs simply run around a secure field all day. Instead, it is a structured environment that prioritises appropriate exercise, fulfilment, and the reinforcement of positive behaviours while your dogs are in my care. I also tailor the experience to each dog’s individual needs, ensuring they receive the specific support and attention they require.

I am passionate about ongoing learning to provide the best possible service to dogs and their owners. This includes attending seminar and webinars, completing my daycare level 3 qualification and, currently, partaking in the Phoenixk9 mentorship, with Ches Pickering.

I spend a lot of time attending classes and training my own dogs, who are always helping me learn.

My dogs mean the world to me, and I aim to provide the love and care I do for them, for your dogs at Nala’s.
